A few times this year, the defense has held the oppositon short of a first down where the offense had a penalty. MM typically accepts the penalty even tho the result of the play most likely would require the other team to punt. Letting another team have a 3rd down play especially giving our defense a chance to give them a first down with interference, illegal contact or just a big play.

So far I don't think the decisions have come back to haunt the Packers, but it sure allows for 2nd guessing.....
