Is this the once in a lifetime event when it would be acceptable for a Packers fan to openly root for the bares? I never thought I would say this, but it would be great to see the bares dump the queens. The bares are done, wins only lower their draft position and it would be great to see the queens falter down the stretch and fall out of the playoffs after all the hype they have been getting the last couple of weeks.

I am comfortable letting the queens rise to a higher height before the inevitable fall from grace
There are a few skeptical vike fans still holding out, and I want them all on the bandwagon when it goes over the cliff of doom that surrounds that franchise. |

I'm rooting for da Bears. The office weasels have been out in force the past three weeks. One cliche-ridden yutz is "convinced" the Vikings would crush the Packers in another meeting. Dr. Seussian headline I want to see: Orton bitchslaps a Queen.

Don't forget the most important angle: Fantasy Football
It's playoff time and I need Adrian Peterson to roll against the Bears. Let's meet somewhere in the middle with this. Bears 41 Vikes 38 - Peterson runs for 250 yds and 5 tds. Suckwell misses a last second FG to tie the game. |

I almost always will root for the Bears to beat the Vikings. I did root for the Vikings though when they beat the Bears earlier this season. "Root" is probably too strong of a word, but I was not sad when they kicked the field goal to beat the Bears.
I will openly root for the Bears though this weekend. I am so tired of hearing how good Tarvaris Jackson has been the last 3 games, despite not even throwing for 210 yards in any game and more than 200 only once. |

I hope the queens make the playoffs. They could destroy Dallas and their run D. Not sure they win the game but...maybe they do and the road to the Super Bowl goes through GB!

I hope the Vikings make the playoffs too. I'd rather play them than the other likely teams we'd face if we get that bye (I think Tampa loses their first game no matter who they play, so it'd be Seattle or the Giants or the Vikings coming to Lambeau). And if the draw works out that they go to Dallas, I think they'd have a decent shot to knock them off.
Plus the Bears are going to get rolled, big-time Monday night. Vikings in a laugher. |

While all logic seems to indicate that the Queens will hammer the Barfs, one thing that folks seem to forget is that we are in fact talking about the Queens. How many times in their history have their incredible choke jobs completely defied logic? My point is that this is a team that needs to actually win something that matters before I'm ready to just assume they'll win any game or qualify for any postseason. I agree with you, Max - I'd be fine with GB playing them again, but with the Queens, we need to cross that bridge, so to speak.

Think I'll be pulling for the "Queens".
Good luck to the Pukers this week. *** If this is truly a non smack board, maybe we could do without the derogatory names for teams *** |

It's a non-smack board in terms of flinging poo at other posters personally, such as "you're an idot, U R DUM, Iowacheese is a stupid cross-dresser..." stuff like that. Bottom line is that it is a GBP board, so terms such as Queens, Barfs, Detoilet, etc. will always be around.

IC is a cross-dresser?! With THOSE legs? Yech.
JJSD has a sagacious point, Erik. This is a non-smack board, but it is, above all else, a Packer board. For you to expect us not to call the Vikes ViQueens, ViQueers, Helga's, S.S. Minnow, etc., would be as patently ridiculous as me going to a Vikings board and demand that they not refer to the Packers in derogatory terms. (Like this is something I'd even consider doing!) And its a pretty minor point, considering the absence of attacks on fans of other teams who post here. That being said, I don't care which team wins Monday night. We'll humiliate the winner, and that will pretty much be that. |

Leave my Jonathans out of this!!!
I'm merely pointing out that hairy, knobby knees are less than fetching in a pair of Hanes pantyhose. Heck, just ask Henry. He wears strapless cocktail dresses, even though he's got that rainforest growing down his back. |

I agree with all of this, but I can't bring myself to root for the Vikings. So I'll do my usual when in this situation - I'll root against both teams. Yea, penalties! Yea, stupid playcalling! Yea, turnovers!! |

Go Bears
Reasons 1. May keep Vikes out of the playoffs. 2. Will give the Bears a worse draft pick. 3. Lovie may think Kyle Orton is the QB of the future. |

Fortunately, aboriginal peoples are slowly hacking away at the undergrowth . By 2012 Hank's back will be as smooth as Dilweed's groin area. |

All very good reasons, but I can't bring myself to cheer for either team. Guess I'll be watching Big Monday college hoops. |
