Joe Toledo was signed by the 49ers.

Luke Swan was cut by the Chiefs. Any interest? I'm not saying I'm interested. But he was a good UW player.

Swanny was a great player for the Badgers, all heart. But another WR on this roster? No thanks.

tsk, tsk, some of you just don't understand do you?

MM & TT want 5 All-Pro WR's with a great running game and fantastic defense.

This is how you build a consistent winner in today's NFL. They want to make this offense unstoppable. Just wait & see, we're going to need the WR's.

I'm not saying they should or shouldn't pickup Luke Swan. I find it difficult to believe a team like the Chiefs (not many WR's of quality) would cut a WR if he flashed anything though.

But if you have a flasher on your team, aren't you going to get fined under the NFL's new conduct policy?

I had some hope Toledo could shake the injury bug and be a contributor. All the things I read said physically, he could be a good starter but he just needs to not be injured. Obviously he was either injured again or all his injuries have taken their toll on him.

Yup, the Chefs basically have one decent receiver. If Swan couldn't make it in KC, no way he makes it in GB.

Didn't even make it through OTA's. His hammy must still be shot.

I'll never forget that one-handed catch Swan made in the Super Bowl----I didn't even know he was still trying to play---isn't he like 53 years-old? Big Grin
