Just heard from a friend that is at a golf outing with Leroy Butler and Chmura that Favre signed a $14 million contract last night with the Vikings. Haven't seen this anywhere else though yet so take it for what it's worth.

Man, if you look at some of the posts about the Queens schedule and everything, pulling out the tinfoil hats is justifiable. It's just all way too convenient how this all worked out.
Really, anyone recall the last time a team had 3 straight home games? Let alone 3 straight that late in the year? One cold weather game all season? |

Yeah, if it's just three straight home games, that's not that rare. Six different teams had three straight at home last season, including both the Bears and Lions. Chicago's were late in the year -- December. Couple other teams (Steelers, Chargers) had three-game home stands in November.

Minnesota might have 3 consecutive home games but look at their schedule after that?
They play 3 of their last 5 on the road and the finale against the Giants won't be easy. Let's also remember something else- prior to that 3 game home stand and the bye they play Baltimore at home, at Pittsburgh, and at Green Bay. They could easily lose all three of those games. |

Worthless comment of the day, but I'm going to say it anyway: While I'll never hate Brett Favre, I find all of this extremely annoying. You never want to see your favorite Packer of all time in your most hated rival's uniform.
