In the past I never had problems getting their packer articles to load. Now I can't get them to load, regardless of whether I use a Mac or a PC. Very frustrating. Any else having this problem?

I've never had a problem either.
Anything weird about your setup? Trying to connect from work? Through a proxy? Tried lowering your security settings? Tried a different browser? Tried connecting with your laptop at someone else's house (or Starbucks or something)? Have you changed computers or internet providers or firewall/antivirus/antispam software since the time when it used to work? |

Nothing has changed that I'm aware of, and it hasn't affected my ability to load any other websites. I'll try different browsers--I think I already tried that, but will do for sure now. thanks. |

tried both Safari and Firefox on my Mac plus Explorer on a PC. No dice.
Oh well, not a big deal. Thanks for the ideas, though. |

Is one of the comps a laptop? I'll bet it works through someone else's wifi connection. |

They did just recently update their site format. I deleted the old "favorite" or bookmark, and plugged in the new one, also deleted all the cookies.
Here's how I get to their main Packer page now: http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?category=PKR01 |

thanks, but that doesn't work any better for me. No, I'm not using a laptop. And I have a very robust connection. Like I say, it's the only site I go to that seems to cause problems. I normally use a Mac both at home and work. Don't know if that's the problem, cuz I tried on a PC once, too, and still couldn't connect. |

Ditto. I'm not sure if Oshbaul was referring to the website itself or it's writers or both.... But in all cases he nailed it. I find navigating through their content to be not very user friendly and their writers seem to have a rather high opinion of themselves. Alot of useless garbage is wafting from that "new" site. |
