Wow, a day in the life of Charlie D. Tuna, huh? In the morning, you're 98% ready to pack up and move to Atlanta, and by early afteroon you're the VP of football operations in Miami. Out of the crap and into the manure.

Shoot I'd rather be in Miami than Atlanta. All the punks on the Falcons. At least he has some solid young players to work with in Miami. Atlanta needs a major rebuilding before they will be really competitive whereas I think Miami just needs a solid QB and a couple good Olinemen for their offense to really be competitive and they need a stud DT and a couple decent CBs to make their D respectable.

As bad as Miami appears right now, I think they're a 3 or 4 good free agent pickups and 1 good draft away from at least getting to .500. I think Parcells could do it and I expect they'll be much better next year.

I wonder if he tries to put the screws to Jerry Jones and hires Jason Garrett as head coach?

I bet he didn't even have the guts to write the ownership or players of the storied ATL franchise a goodbye note like Petrino.

Rumor floating on ND Football Board is that he has reached out to Charlie Weis

The guy must have a fondness for the AFC East. His motivation must have something to do with playing his former employers 4 times per year and attempting to build a team from nothing to beat them (if he stays there long enough).

That is probably just wishful thinking on the ND fans' part after Weis posted what is likely the worst season in history for that school.

There will be GM's standing in line, to get Garrett. I heard the other day that Jerry already has a plan in place to try and keep Garrett.

Unless his plan is, "Wade you're fired, Jason you're the new HC," I think Garrett will take the best offer he gets.

Jones will need to give Garrett HC money AND a promise that he'll take over as HC once Wade is tossed aside for Garrett to stay (kind of like how FSU is keeping Jimbo Fisher around).

If Jerry doesn't do that, and Bill Parcells or Rich McKay say, "Jason, we'll give a ton of money to be our HC and you'll get such and such control", then I'm sure Garrett will jump ship.

Who would want to work under that old windbag of an owner anyway?

Actually, both of them are spelled Leif.

Leif Erickson can be seen in Kiss Them for Me on December 30 at 1:30 PM ET on the Fox Movie Channel.

(If you meant the explorer, that's Leif Ericson.) Razzer
