My son wants a Driver (youth) jersey for Christmas. They are approaching 2x retail price on ebay, and no online stroes have them in stock. Any ideas? I explained the situation to him, and he thought for a second then decided it would be his wish to Santa, so now what do I do? I'm afraid I will fork out $100 for a youth replica jersey on ebay. Any suggestions appreciated.

Perfect! A simple solution! I like it...now if the $85 bid doesn't hold I know what to do. Thanks!

yes, I checked every online store and they are all out of driver jersey's at the normal price around $50. The NFL customized solution, although $25 more is the best buy. |

Were you looking for a replica or just a cheap one? Because I know I saw a cheap type youth Driver this weekend while off on my shopping trip with the gals on the west side of Madison. It was either at the Target not too far from West Towne, or possibly at the new big Wal-Mart with the underground parking, cart escalators, etc. that just opened a bit north (?) of there. I didn't look at the sizes, though, just a quick flip through to see who all they had.

I tried finishline, when I wanted to purchase, it came back out of stock. I didn't try shopko, didn't see it under google search. I looked at a cheaper jersey on ebay that would fit this year but not next, I didn't like the solid yellow collar or the stripes that only cover the top of the sleeve. The cheap version on ebay wasn't all that cheap either. I am buying a bit large, so the extra bucks to see him chasing down passes in a driver jersey for a few years will be well worth it...thanks for the input.

thanks, but this is a good example of the struggle. they have the youth jersey I am looking for and it is $49. But not in the size I need. Seems like a lot of 8-12 yr old boys going for driver jerseys. My son is 8, but I want size 10-12 so he can wear it out. |

FWIW, and not too related to the subject, the Reebok Sideline Hat that Favre wears (yellow one) is completely sold out everywhere. I can't find it - and it's goin' upwards of $60 on ebay right now. It retails for $18.
I want that hat. |

a youth size 10-12 could be similar to an adult small...might want to give that a try?

I was thinking about that...right now I am on the hook for $85 on ebay, a similar auction closed today where the jersey went for $112. Glad I am not the only moron that couldn't figure out the NFL shops customized jersey approach... |

Before you pull the trigger on one of the customized ones--make sure you'll get it in time. On the nflshop site, it says 3-4 weeks.

Big....just a thought. Write to Driver, explain your situation, ask if he can help. Maybe your son can get a 'personalized' jersey that way and can still cherish it for years to come! Worth a try?

Yeah, but when you buy NFL merchandise from a store other than the Packers Pro Shop, NFL proceeds go into the general fund shared by all teams. Meaning, buy from a Green Bay store on Holmgren way, only to give money to the Bears. No thanks! |

The yellow one, packmaniac.
Where is the Jersey Store, Border? Online? Or do I have to go down there to get one? I wouldn't mind... ;-) |
