4-12
8-8 9-1 Total: 21-21 That's an awfully quick turnaround so far from when GB completely bottomed out and rebuilt the roster almost from scratch. Who knows if this trend will continue, as we've all seen that one or two injuries can just about kill any team. Not to mention, four of the next five are on the road, and I see GB possibly losing the next two games. Of course, since my predictions are always wrong, that's worth just about nothing. Regardless, to be able to put a team back together in two years when we've seen other organizations stink and rebuild for decades means that a lot of things besides TT's work is coming together nicely. GMing is good, scouting appears to be good, cap is in good shape, coaching is good, tallant is back all over the roster and GB is still the youngest team in the NFL. Obviously, any fan's point of view is subjective by nature, but I see a team with a strong foundation that's moving onward and upward, and doing so quickly. |

good post.
I agree. It's even more pleasing seeing that it took the Cowgirls and Whiners many many years to get back to a competitive level after they had mortgaged the future with their ridiculous Free Agency spending after they got old. In fact, I'm not sure if the Whiners are even back after their collapse. Having only ONE losing season since 1992 is an honor that we should all be proud of... |

As I watched the Vikings and Raiders today, I really appreciated the job TT has done even more.
Obviously both of those teams are trying to rebuild by bringing in new franchise RBs and QBs and coaches and other things, but they're not doing a good job. They're not drafting the right guys and obviously aren't signing the right FAs. TT has drafted great players and has signed solid FAs. I challenge anyone to watch both of those teams and not be happy TT is our GM. I doubt we'd be in the position we are in if we had Rick Spielman or Al Davis running our team. |

Reign of Ted Thompson: 17-9 so far. The previous year belonged to that clown Sherman and the skeletal remains of a team that he left behind. Thompson and McCarthy are both deserving of winning their respective league-wide awards this year. |

GM's are responsible for the messes they inherit - IMHO, part of their due diligence before taking the job is assessing how big of a mess there is. I'm sure TT did that, put his plan in place, sold Harlan on it and got started. That's why the cap mess, lack of tallant, etc., wasn't really TT's doing, but you have to include that in his overall track record because it's where he started.

Yeah, that was a no-brainer, and the only pick they got right.
Unless you think Jackson will be the next McNabb. |

That's why I think you make a good point, GD. Looking at the Queens, they don't appear to be anywhere close to fulfilling whatever big-picture plan they had. I don't even think you could look at that team and figure out what the big-picture plan even is. GB is obviously following a plan that's organized and upon which everyone in the organization seemingly agrees. Those are big components to GB being headed in this direction, IMHO.

Now if they could only hit on some other picks, and a head coach and a OC and a GM and a owner and a stadium . . . |

Good thing they took their time for McKenzie. He does the same thing when KGB uses him as a used condom. |

The Viking strategy is to draft so high in the first round, that it is a lot tougher to make a mistake. Worked this time. Unfortunately, that still leaves the rest of the rounds to make mistakes in.
