The thing that caught my attention was his assertion that 2 point conversions were attempted too much as well as punting on 4th downs. We definitely saw that implemented on the field.

Now, I'm not saying this is as big as the forward pass but it's definitely a shift in the game. I wouldn't be surprised to see other teams searching for their "statiscian guru". That's what I like about TT, he's very geekish.

I'd say they made a management decision to punt less on 4th down. That had to be based on some careful study. And when a Rutgers proffesor writes a paper on 2 point conversion rates and only 1 of 32 NFL teams contacts him? That says something.

I can admire the way the Pats do things and root against them as the weekly favorite too.

To simply bash them as "cheaters" is ignorant.
