I haven't been watching too closely, but I've seen a lot of yellow seats. Aren't the Steelers supposed to have these incredibly dedicated, tough and knowledgeable fans?

I think most of them went home because it was just way too easy to watch a game on a field that actually has yard markers.

I'm guessing "Desperate housewives" kept more than just a few fans home. This week's episode was billed as being pretty "dramatic".

But if you watch from home, you might have to listen to Madden. I forgot just how miserable he has become. Droning on about the good old days when you weren't down by contact. He really subtracts from the game.

Same thing last week vs. the Dolphins. What a bunch of nancies.

According to my DAL resident friends PITT is the only team that travels like GB. Season ticket holders sell their seats when either team is in town to finance 1/2+ of their total season ticket bill.

Unlike the uber-rich Dallas folks on a THU night, people in PITT might actually have to work MON morning.

If listening to Madden's miserable Gumbel get's you into the 7th ring of Hell.

So what has flex scheduling solved, exactly? Most of these games are still garbage. Next week is Indy and Baltimore. Whoop-dee-do.

I think it's just that the other announcers have gotten worse lately but I actually enjoy listening to Madden now. Used to be that I couldn't stand him. Maybe it's Michael's commentary or something? Maybe I'm just getting senile at a young age?

Bad weather at Lambeau Field, they pack 'em into Curly's and they watch the game on TV.

I thought a lot of fans were wearing yellow rain slickers.
