If he stays healthy and lives up to his physical potential, he could be a HUGE weapon for our offense. That's a very big IF though.

I'm very excited about this offense. We're 6 deep in good receivers, 3 TEs with unlimited potential (Lee, Humphrey, Finley), 3 RBs who could all be very good (Grant, Jackson, Wynn), 2 QBs who could be very good (Rodgers, Brohm), 2 good FBs, 2 Pro Bowl OTs, and an above average Center. If the Guard positions get settled, which I think they could with Barbre and Spitz, our offense could be even better than last year!!

Not to quibble, but are you already including 7th-rounder Brett Swain?

I think our biggest questions are quarterback and the interior of the offensive line. Elsewhere we look pretty solid -- but those are some pretty major questions to have. If there are growing pains for the quarterback or we struggle to fill just one of the guard positions, the entire offense could look ordinary in a hurry.

Not to quibble redux, but Robinson wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire either. Wynn blows too. But otherwise I agree with you 100%. (It's the offseason, time for picking nits).

McCarthy had some good things to say about Wynn working hard in the weight room and stuff this offseason. Edgar Bennett said he just needs to show more consistency.

My guess is that his body wasn't prepared for the NFL last year like it should have been. It's well known he didn't work hard at FloriDUH so I'm guessing he wasn't in great football shape when he arrived last year. I think having an entire offseason to work with a good Strength and Conditioning coach like Rock will do him good. Hopefully it leads to fewer injuries.

2. Jennings: If he can stay healthy, he's golden. Thumbs Up

I don't care what order they're in... I just want Holiday to make the 6. He's got hands and real upside.

Rodgers spoke glowingly about Ruvell during last TC. He sounded like he didn't want to see him go and was greatly looking forward to working with him when he got his shot. I think he'll stick.

I'm sure it'll come down to TT draft pick Swain and Holiday. I don't like Holiday's odds.

EDIT...Swain's odds are pretty good. Shaun Bodiford ain't making it. He can go find Mike Martz somewhere.

We've got some good looking TEs. Donald Lee, Finley, Humphrey, who can also block, then you got that Haynos kid, who's like 6' 8." Might have to stash one of those guys on IR or practice squad.

For "Just a guy", few know that Martin lead the team in fewest dropped passes. He had fewer drops then Driver, Jennings, Lee, etc. He went something like 40 straight catches without a drop and is one of GB's most sure handed receivers. He may look like "just a guy" because he hasn't had the same opportunities as the starters have but the kid has pretty good hands.
