--The Vikes, if Adrian stays healthy.
--The Bucs COULD go 12-4, possibly jeopardizing our first round bye. --The Seahawks? Maybe one of these teams could take Dallas out in the first round. Too bad the Cowboys have such an easy schedule. STICK A FORK IN THEM: Lions Giants (even with win, they looked horrible) Bears |

I actually think the Giants because their D looked pretty good, even though it was against the Bears O. And i think they have enough offensive weapons. Their O-line is decent, the should have a powerback by playoffs, they have good WRs and a ProBowl TE.
And then TB because of their D. |

The Vikings are still very one dimensional. You stop the run, you stop the Vikes. Sydney Rice seems to be stepping into the fold, but he isn't a guy you gameplan for. A good passing game, a solid secondary and a decent pass rush will beat the Vikings every time.

GOSH! Everything I hear out of the east coast is that the Giants are the biggest threat. They were the best team in the NFC a few weeks ago (I guess. That's what I heard). Now after the win today, I heard on the radio that they're again on track and a team to be reckoned with (how many turnovers did Eli have today?).
Actually, our own Minnesota Vikings are starting to look interesting. They got that great defensive line, a great offensive backfield, the young QB has looked better in recent weeks and sounds like their rookie WR has started to pick it up. Question is whether there'll be spot for them at the end of the season. And of course, they are the Vikings. They'll find a way to blow it. Tampa's doing it but I don't know how. They got a gift today but they're so banged up I don't know if they can move far in the playoffs. They'll win their division though. |

That D is pretty good and they have vets on the team. If Eli is on, they'd be tough to beat. If Eli is off, they're off-ful!

Vikings in Lambeau in January = No threat.
Bears, only because they have a recent history beating the Packers. Bucs until they struggled to beat NO Giants...yeah, I would want the weaker Manning in January in Lambeau. Would have liked to see NYG and TB lose today. Bears are to far back, and will drop at least another game. |

Bucs are the biggest threat. I don't think Jeff Garcia played today and they still won. They are a tough team. |

Maybe the Bucs will face Dallas in the second round, knock them off then take us on Lambeau.
I like that scenario.... |

The biggest threats are Tampa Bay and Seattle because they are both capable of catching the Packers for the #2 seed.
I'm going to be worried about whoever they have to play. I think the Packers are 70-30 to beat almost any of them in a second round playoff game at Lambeau. The key thing is to get that week off. |

Two game lead with four to go. Win 3 games and we're golden, though we definitely have the toughest remaining schedule of the three teams. Conference record is even between us, Tampa, and Seattle at 7-2.

After last week I would say ourselves and the Media Bias against the NFC Norse leader. The negative media especially in the realm of Power Rankings (only slightly less powerful than the Coaches Poll) might just be too much for the Packers to be forced to overcome.

Tampa is a threat because they are 8-4 and they have a decent 7-2 conference record. The #1 goal from this point forward (for Green Bay) is to get that #2 overall seed because it means a 1st round bye which historically in the NFC playoffs has been significant. You want that extra week of rest and it's one less game you have to play.
In terms of possible playoff opponents I would not want to see GB face the Bears for no other reason than Chicago seems to have their number at Green Bay and they always play the Packers tough. I guess you could say the same thing about Minnesota but I think the Packers have their number and I like the matchups much better in that game. |

How is the Packers schedule definitely the toughest? Combined records of the Packers remaining opponents is 18-30 which is the same as Seattle's. Tampa Bay's is 16-30. None of the teams play anyone with a winning record and the Packers play a reeling .500 team that has lost 4 in a row. |

Arguably one of the weakest Packers teams in recent history as evidenced by their 4-12 record the following season

Dallas is not an automatic #1 seed just because of their remaining schedule. I think Detroit, among others, beat them in Dec last year.
I wish it was a given, that they can win 3 of the next 4, but for the past several years they have not done well in Dec. |
