My brother's wife gave me her ticket!

Never been to a playoff at Lambeau!

I'll try to do a report that comes close to Tooner's great accounts!

Let me know if something comes up and you can't make it. I know someone who would take 'em off your hands.

My bro is coming in from North Dakota to go with me. The last game he attended was a win over Denver...it just so happened to be the same day the Vikings lost against Arizona. You gotta pull out all the karma stops now!

I called the packer Pro Shop to tell them you're coming. They're going to shut down for an hour so you have free access to everything. They'll probably make more money that way keeping everyone else out because you'll have room to move around. Wink

Congrats Y.A., I was there Saturday and I will be there Sunday thanks to my good friend Joe who has season tickets... I am also taking my personal day on Monday so as to allow plenty of time for celebrating afterwards.

I'll be there as well, although rooms are now starting at $225 a nite at Days Inn Lambeau! Eeker I was just there for the Detroit game and got dinged $199 per night....

Looking at staying at Mischicot, I think it is only 20 miles down the road but my folks have a time share I'm trying to weasel in on. asskiss

I am happy for you that you will be at the game EC. But you can't be serious about someone having a time share in Mischicot can you? Eeker

Sweet! Dress warmly and buy some heat packs ( I was at the Seattle playoff game four years ago and those things were life savers). I cant take the cold anymore since relocating from Wisconsin three years ago. 50f gives me the chills.

LOL, actually, yes. It's part of some world wide network or something. I agree, Mischicot is not a world wide destination....

I was at the Carolina Championship game 11 years ago.

It was brutally cold that day...even the bloody Mary's and screwdrivers were frozen.

I stayed warm with...electric socks....they are powered by one D-cell battery (each sock)...they work great....but you must remeber NOT to wear socks underneath them...you'll lose circulation...I know, I found out the hard way...I had to take off my boots and socks right before the game started...I think you could wear one of those thin sanitary type socks, however.

anyway, the only think I wish I would've had access to is one of those face masks (hunter's mask?) that covers the tip of your nose, too...

I wish I could fly back for this one, too. I have a 3-day weekend coming up, too...darn....with 2 kids and one due in 2 weeks, it'll be a tough sell to the wife.

I noticed the same thing. The night before round trip from the West coast was $248, right after the game the cheapest I could find was $795 and availability into GRB was really limited for FF plans. Kind of like who would be flying there without a championship game, and now... probably because it has shifted into the "last minute" pricing mode, too.
