I was poking around on google trying to find stats for Colledge's penalties to no avail. I went to his players page on NFL.com and went through all the the play by plays of last season's games. I searched through them using "colledge" to find penalties or other plays of note and "left guard" to find running plays in the general direction of his position and then copied and pasted the findings here. These are all the plays and not edited to make a case for good or poor performance.

Against TEN he played LT and against DET he played RT. for those games I searched using those areas of play. It's certainly not comprehensive and doesn't account for scheme, blitzes, or busted plays but I thought it would be interesting to see the information none the less.

WK 1 (MIN)- False start
2-9-GB 27 (9:58) 25-R.Grant left guard to GB 27 for no gain
2-1-MIN 1 (6:05) 12-A.Rodgers left guard for 1 yard TOUCHDOWN

It's hard to say at this point what may become of Brohm. I agree that it's nice to have the 'luxury' of not having to rush him into a starter's role; let's hope it continues to remain the same.
If he is still lost in TC, it may be time to look at some QB prospects in next year's daft, however.
I've thought that Colledge was going to be the man at LT when Cliffy retires, but, apparently, the coaches have him pegged as a Guard. I trust they know better than me. In any case, he's worth extending.

I've heard people say Colledge is a T and others say he's a G. I don't care what position he plays, as long as he does it well.

Hopefully they just keep him at guard ... he's become a good player there so it makes no sense to move him to tackle. The Packers need to develop a LT of the future. Meredith seems worthy athletically .. just needs to add some bulk.

I hear you, but Colledge finally turned the corner at G last year, so I don't see him playing any LT unless of an emergency (knock on wood).

I'll be curious to see what his extension (and Spitz's when he wins the starting job) look like.

Wells (more likely) and Poppinga may have to go for no other reason than to use their base salaries to help extend others you want to keep more.

Signing Spitz to anchor the middle is huge. Signing Colledge would go a long way toward some continuity on the O-Line

Colledge is there because GB couldn't afford to keep Whale around. Everyone forgets that it took Whale 3 years to learn to play the position. And Colledge is on a similiar learning curve. If it is possible, sign him & Spitz if he wins the C position.

Smiler

Spitz is going to win the C job and get extended.

Mark it down.

It won't be a problem this time around since we no longer have a GM who wrecks the salary cap by signing guys like Joe Johnson and Cletidus Hunt.

That play proves there's less than a 10% chance he'll get extended.
