Nice gesture on the part of the NFL, players and fans for voting in Sean Taylor to the starting lineup for the NFC.

Wow, what an upset. Al Harris makes it but Woodson does not? Huh? What games are everybody watching that I'm not?
Also Barnett gets beaten out by a rookie? Oh boy, is he gonna be pissed and deservedly so. |

Woodson has outplayed Harris this season, but Woodson has gone to a bunch of Pro Bowls, so I'm glad Harris finally gets to go to one. I'm sure it means more to him.
Driver has had a very good year, but I didn't expect him to get selected. And while Barnett is deserving, so are Tatupu and Willis. What this tells me is that MM has done one of the greatest coaching jobs in NFL history. How many coaches have gone 12-2 with so few Pro Bowl players? To me, the Packers are the consummate TEAM - a few great players surrounded by a whole bunch of good, hard-working players. |

Now here's the other question: Will we actually see our Bret playing in the Pro-Bowl? The last few times he was selected I seem to recall he made excuses and dropped out ... That was a while back, and he was much younger... I bet (hope) he actually goes and starts that game (right after he wind the SB MVP

Maybe they're saying that because Harris enjoys having his ego stroked and doesn't play as well against the guys who kiss his butt like that. |

It would be funny if Woodson made the AP All-Pro team after not making the Pro Bowl. It would just go to show what a farce the latter has become. |

Maybe we should be grateful; I don't think the 10-4 Jaguars have a single player on the team.

No love for Jax. Fred Taylor has over 10,000 career rushing yards and zero Pro Bowls. Small media markets get screwed.

I agree. Fred Taylor has to be wondering what he has to do to make it. I can see Parker and Tomlinson over him, but Joseph Addai? David Garrard has been great (16 TDs/2 Ints), but he gets stuck behind P. Manning, Brady, and Big Ben. As for the NFC rosters, based on this the Packers must not have a chance against the Cowboys, Vikings or Seahawks in the playoffs. This should be a great motivator. 11 Cowboys 7 Vikings 6 Seahawks 4 Packers 1 Giant 0 Buccaneers. Gruden must be a miracle worker to clinch a division title with two weeks left without a single Pro Bowler. 4 Bears Maybe we'll see Barnett and Woodson play like Karl Malone did about 20 years ago when he torched the Bucks for about 60 the night after he found out he was left off the NBA all-star team. Barnett already plays like he's possessed under normal circumstances. |

Minnesota. They consider Pro Bowl voting their Super Bowl.

No need to watch the Superbowl now that we already know who the best players in the league are.
Reminds me of the wonderful years decades ago when every year the college allstars would play the NFL champion, to begin the football year. Once or twice the allstars actually won it. |

Get ready for a firestorm...you've poked the hater beast with a stick now... BTW - I agree that, depending on how GB finishes the season, MM's performance this year could prove to be historic. Regardless of the number of people 'elected' to this meaningless and utterly unwatchable game, one indisputable fact is MM is doing this with the youngest roster in the NFL. |

Harris deserves to go. Yeah he's looked bad against Owens and Holt, but those are 2 of the premier recievers in the league. Harris isn't going to win every battle, but he wins the vast majority of them. Congrats 3irty1!

Actually.....I think the Packers were snubbed big time. I'll be honest with you, any team who throws up a 12 and 2 record and only has 4 players put on the Pro Bowl is an insult. I would expect the Packers to use this as motivation to show the league that they deserved better and they will start that statement this week against the Bears!. Barnett and Woodson specifically should be on that roster....AJ Hawk has probably played well enough to be considered as well..... No Disrespect intended..... |

No sweat on the pro bowl, but GB only having four players in the game is pretty sad. At 12-2, you'd think they'd get a little more respect league wide.
I also thought Jennings should be going over Driver. Who in the hell did the Vikes payoff? Seven? Guess it just proves the Pro Bowl isn't worth getting all bent out of shape about. |

Could be denial on some people's part. People still want to believe that the Packers are terrible. Meanwhile, one win by he Cowboys and it's SUPER BOWL BABY!!!

This is such a good thing for this defense.
Yeah the Pro Bowl is a bit of a joke, but it's a very big deal for the players. They want to be recognized. This is awesome. Barnett is going to unleash a firestorm from here on out. I wouldn't want to get in his way. McCarthy should convince Pickett, Williams, KGB--heck all of them--that they ALL got snubbed (except Woodson, who already knows it). Hell knows no fury, folks! |

i'm with you on that one, it doesn't make a lot of sense that their better corner gets left out and harris gets in. harris has had some rough moments this year and he only has 2 interceptions. woodson has 4 including a int-TD and a fumble-TD. same thing with driver over jennings - driver hasn't had that good of a year. jennings is the go to guy in the red zone. as for barnett getting beat out by a rookie, you have to see willis play - he is awesome. |

so which of the seven vikings didn't deserve to get in, i'm curious. every year packer fans think they should have pro bowlers at every position but honestly the selections are not that bad this year. the only guy i can see that green bay didn't get in that should have is woodson. collectively they have a good unit but there is not really much star power on the team other than the guys that did make it. |
