I went to NFL.com during the Bears/Skins game and they actually showed some of the game live, along with analysis from the studio and from the field. I only spent a few moments checking it out.

Questions:
1. Do they show live action during all the games?
2. If so, about how much do you get to see? (half? quarter? less?)
3. Is there a better site to view the game online besides NFL.com?

All the NFL Network games are covered this way. The GB-dal game got more coverage than last nights contest.

When you say it got more coverage, do you mean they showed quite a bit of it live? Or did the talking heads keep you captivated from the studio for most of the game?

They showed quite a bit of GB/Dallas game live. That's how I watched it. Have not checked out any of the other games.

This NFL Network is joke. I don't even remember the game is being played. As an NFL fan, I always look in on the game, regardless of who is playing. But with this cable dispute preventing the broadcast, I forget all about the NFL. I doubt that's what the big wigs desire but that's how it's working for me.

i am a longtime dish customer..not by choice..it was the cheapest free install, free equipment, etc deal around my area at the time many years ago and i never even heard of it...i remember asking the sales person..."are you going to be around in 5 years?"

i guess so...

anyway, nflnetwork just came along and one day appeared on my dial.

my opinion: if you jones for nfl in-season or off-season and live in a non-nfl state as i do, i think it's a great station with programming that i hit on my regular surf patrol when i have the remote in my hands

i actually think mooch, dion and the other guy are pretty funny when they are going thru the day's highlights and they banter in the background, mumbling stuff, insider comments etc...that's coming from a customer who loathes most commentators

for me there is no dispute b/c i get the channel...if i didn't i would be bitter if only bc i missed the packers/cowboys

I read this morning that the NFL and Turner cable reached some agreement but it was really skimpy on details. It didn't appear to include the other cable companies.

The papers here said the Packer/Dal game had more viewers than the combined number of viewers for the Red Sox playoff games here in Boston. From what I had gathered, a lot of people, including myself, signed up for the NFLNetwork to see the game and then promptly cancelled it.

To say the least, the Pats fans are very sure that the Pats will be playing against either the Pack or Dal in the SB.

go colts. Let's hope Dungy and Manning have one more upset of the evil empire.

Now that would be sweet. But I would like to go one step further and say lets hope that the Pats mess up and get blown out in their first playoff game.
