instead of future draft picks, is there anyone on their roster we could pick up in a trade for BF?

Good question..I don't have the answer but I doubt Tampa would give up any good current players since they Know Favre is probably a 1 year player maybe 2 so anything but a future player takes away from the trade...

I know one position we're lacking in. And at this point in time for Favre...

Warren Sapp also develops an itch, unretires and we trade even up. Having that sack of crap lined up in Green and Gold would be an ironic and fitting ending to this ordeal.

The article in the Tampa Tribune stated that Favre's family was actually pushing him to go to the Jets rather than Tampa.

Scotty wants to live in NYC? That sounds like a perfect match.

I'm pretty sure Blatz Cream Ale would make just about anybody "fast".

Actually North Jersey close to PA and upstate NY for plenty of fishing and hunting spots. On the other hand, Tampa has plenty of WT types to make it feel like at home in MS.... Wink

Tampa is actually the perfect for him. Hillbillies, strip clubs and old people. New York would eat him alive.

we could prolly do pretty well in the way of conditional picks. Tampa is in a very winable division and with Favre at QB they will make the playoffs at least.

I heard the jets were offering more, so Favre will probably prefer Tampa.

None other than Skip (?) Bayless said today, he doesn't think Gruden and Favre will get along. His reasoning? Gruden is an "I'm running the show" coach, which might lead to clashes if Favre pulls his "I'm doing my thing" act. Go figure, yesterday and again today, Bayless was ripping TT a new one for not kissing Favre's arse, then he turns around and implies Gruden might not like dealing with a player that want's things his way.

You mean Gruden is like M3? The coach who's offense helped Favre have his season since the 90s? Brett should only be so lucky.

Oh, brother, there are hillbillies, stripclubs, and old people all over New York state. I lived there for nine years. Favre will be fine there.
