I would not mind seeing TT bring in LeCharles Bentley, I think he could improve the interior of the offensive line. Just wondering if anyone thought it would be a good move.

No, if he had any thing left he wouldn't have been released. With the roster already over limit he wouldn't be worth it.

fierce and mean in college when i watched him play....injuries certainly have slowed him down considerably. not sure if he'd fit the scheme but he'll be out to prove he can still play.

Bentley requested his release and wants to start on another team. That would mean sitting Wells which I highly doubt GB would do.

Though he passed the Browns physical, one still has to wonder how healthy his knee is and what kind of playing shape he's really in. He, like so many Brown players, got a nasty staph infection.

In OTA's, Coston has been playing to back up Wells. I just dont think Bentley wants that job or he'd stay with the Browns.

If I'm an NFL player and my last name started with the letters...B-E-N...I'd be nervous.

Now that we have a JerMichael, we don't need a LeCharles.

Couldn't he played Guard?

I wonder how much money he'll get? I'm sure he'll want a lot but I doubt he'll get a lot. It's hard to gauge...he was a Pro Bowl player before his injury but I wonder how much 2 years out of football has affected him.

Don't you mean injuries? The guy hasn't played a snap in over 2 years.

Well he had 1 injury plus a staph infection...right? He spent all of last season rehabbing it I think.

The name, Joe Johnson comes to mind here.

The difference is that Bentley has an excuse for his failures. Johnson was just a dog.

I'll never forget watching Johnson in his first training camp with the Packers and being amazed at just how little effort he put forth. He always looked as if he would rather be anywhere else.
