They (Giants) are playing with a LOT of confidence. The Packers will need to really focus and play well. If the offensive line plays well, I think it bodes well for the Packers. The Cowboys o-line is pretty good and the giants were getting significant pressure with just 4 down.

If the giants are still without 2 of their top 3 CBs next week they are going to have a tough time matching up with the 4 and 5 WR stes.

HELL JUST FROZE OVER.

The "Manning" in the championship game round is Eli - not Payton.

Unbelievably, Son Volt has joined Wilco in pulling for the Packers:

The cowboys peaked in the first quarter of the Packers game - from the time Rodgers took over until now, the Cows have played as ugly as their owner looks

As long as it doesn't freeze over again next week, unless the freezing begins in the northeast.

It's going to be a rout ... Packers able to do what they want offensively. Quick rhythm passing, and plenty of run game. They are so banged up in the secondary how can they possibly keep up with GB's 5 wideout sets. We need to hope heavy winds don't hit the tundra .. even if they do though you have to like the Packers chances of running the football against the Giants.

Exactly, the Boys have not impressed me at all since the 1st half of that game. Giants will provide some challenges especially to the front line, but they rose to the occassion last week. Having the game in Lambeau is a great boost for Packer confidence, but with it that cold I worry about being able to pass effectively and turnovers.

This game had to take alot out of them.

Eli will choke. And if Madison and Ross are both out their secondary is not too great.

Usi's speed will be negated by the bad conditions.

The last time we played each other for the Championship, Green Bay 16-7.

December 30, 1962
Yankee Stadium, New York
Green Bay (16) over New York Giants (7)

40 mph winds and 13 degree temps make for a ground battle. Giants cut Packer lead to 10-7 in the 3rd quarter on a blocked end-zone punt but outstanding defensive effort by Ray Nitschke (2 fumble recoveries and deflection that led to an interception) and two more Jerry Kramer field goals ice the game for the Packers.

I don't care how confident or over-confident the fans are. As long as the players and coaching staff isn't over confident. It'll be a battle. If the Packers play like a "young" team, they have a great shot of losing.

I'm already nervous!
