This could be a good situation for Jones. He wasn't able to catch fire in Dallas, especially with the emergence of Marion Barber. Jones should get an opportunity since Shaun Alexander has yet to regain his MVP form.

Jones has looked incredibly average since 2005. (Of course, so has Alexander
I was kind of hoping the Bears might give him a look as a speedy, outside the tackles complement to Benson, but I just can't see him excelling as a featured back. B-N-D |

The last time they had one of the Jones brothers in Chicago it seemed to workout alright! Man, why did they trade him away! |

Didn't they just sign Duckett? Is Holmgren going to run the wishbone?

A lot of mocks I've read had the Seahawks taking a running back in the first, and I have to think their offseason moves change that. That may push one of the studs back to the Pack at 30 (Felix, Stewart, maybe Mendenhall?). I personally think Thompson will trust the stable he has (including a recent #2 pick), but it is something to think about.

Stewart's not going to make it to 15, let alone 30. There will be a good running back there if we want one, but I doubt we'll go that way. Might increase the chances of a trade down, though, if someone else really likes a back who's there at 30.
