stirpot ROFL

We'll see soon enough.

How do you know? Did he say that publicly (I don't remember)? He wasn't the one drafting guys. His role in the draft was probably to help with interviews and give reccomendations....for all we know he wanted Rodgers and management felt different. Who knows.

I follow the draft on every team, all i was saying he must of changed his mind thats it,but he would of been working him out..

I agree with that. The way MM goes about his biz makes me wonder if he isn't a bit of a "yes man". I don't ever foresee him stepping out of what would be expected from someone who promotes the company line.

TT said when he hired him he thought he could work with him. Now, I wonder if he meant that he had a guy who would be supportive regardless of what his own thoughts were.

My feeling is it seems fairly certain that MM preferred Alex Smith as did most people. Looks like most got that one way wrong.

Rodgers will have the better chance just looking at the talent on both team

Packers | Rodgers making all of the throws
Sat, 7 Jun 2008 11:55:36 -0700

Rob Reischel, of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, reports Green Bay
Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, who is expected to be the team's starter in
2008, is throwing the short and intermediate routes with zing. He is
also throwing deep passes with accuracy and touch during the team's
OTAs. His arm, which has received criticism in the past, appears
strong enough to make all of the throws necessary in head coach Mike
McCarthy's offense. Rodgers no longer holds the ball near his ear and
the team has worked extensively on his foot work.
-----------

Rodgers has every opportunity to succeed with this team. If he doesn't, he'll only have himself to blame

I thought his arm looked above average against the Cowboys. Might have more accuracy than Favre too.

I hope you're enjoying your comparative posting of Rodgers to Favre. Come end of July (beginning of training camp) these posts will be moved / deleted, etc.

Me? Heh, I'm not trying to be controversial or anything. I just like Rodgers' accuracy.
