It should have been illegal contact, then, as the ball was nowhere near out of his hand. Moot point, however, nice job by the defense steppin up.

Illegal contact, pass interference. Whatever. He pushed his guy out of bounds. Good call.

THe PI was an ok call but the spot was horrible. The PI happened at the 13 and they gave it to them at the six. What was that all about?

Good point.

The officiating has been at an all-time low this season. I've never seen it so bad over a stretch of so many games.

Packers have an 18-point lead at the half and to be honest I don't think they even played that well.

Defensively they had some trouble getting off the field. Too many dumb penalties. And I thought the timeout by McCarthy after the first sack on the Panthers final drive was a terrible call. What is so bad about taking an 18-point lead to the locker room at home? The Panthers would likely have run out the clock and given you that lead if the timeout isn't call. Williams really bailed out McCarthy with the forced fumble at the end of the drive.

Favre and the offense looks really good so far.

Second half should be a sackfest. Panthers did a reasonably good job protecting the aged one, but playing from behind, it's pin-your-ears-back time for the front four. How many sacks will we get? 8? 9?

Williams is playing himself into the top of the free agent field. Only one other good DT FA next winter....

Panthers were running the ball pretty well.... even when it looked like the Pack had the gaps jammed.

Agree, Brett should come out after the next score or start of 4th Quarter. Its just a bit early.
