OK, after the Raider game, I heard that Will Blackmon was the first player since 1974 to score on a kick return and a fumble return in the same game.

What I haven't been able to find out is who was the last guy to accomplish that.

Anyone know?

Well... considering that he shoved it into the end zone and then fell on it... why not?

So when Howard Cosell did the play-by-play did he say "Look at that monkey go!"?

I think it was in the early 80s and was in reference to one of the Washington Redskins wide receivers.

Good work.

I'm just glad he did it for the Packers. Now, he just needs to stay healthy.

If memory serves, I think he was talking about Joe Washington (RB).

Alvin Garrett

-------

The "little monkey" incident
Cosell drew criticism during one Monday Night Football telecast in September 1983, for stating "look at that little monkey go," when he referred to a play by receiver Alvin Garrett of the Washington Redskins regarding a run after a reception.
