OK, after the Raider game, I heard that Will Blackmon was the first player since 1974 to score on a kick return and a fumble return in the same game.
What I haven't been able to find out is who was the last guy to accomplish that. Anyone know? |

Well... considering that he shoved it into the end zone and then fell on it... why not? |

So when Howard Cosell did the play-by-play did he say "Look at that monkey go!"? |

I think it was in the early 80s and was in reference to one of the Washington Redskins wide receivers. |

Good work. I'm just glad he did it for the Packers. Now, he just needs to stay healthy. |

If memory serves, I think he was talking about Joe Washington (RB).[/QUOTE] Alvin Garrett ------- The "little monkey" incident Cosell drew criticism during one Monday Night Football telecast in September 1983, for stating "look at that little monkey go," when he referred to a play by receiver Alvin Garrett of the Washington Redskins regarding a run after a reception. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howard_Cosell |
