This is NOT a bash thread on Favre but more of a concern one. Starting with the Cowboys game, Favre has been struggling hard. Since we are heading into the playoffs where everything counts, its not good to see our best player struggling. I wonder how much the injury to his arm has been bothering him? We need him to play at his best. Here's Favre's stats the last 4 games:
13 @DAL 5 14 56 35.7% 19 0 2 8.9 14 OAK 15 23 266 65.2% 80 2 1 115.5 15 @STL 19 30 225 63.3% 44 2 2 80.6 16 @CHI 17 32 153 53.1% 20 0 2 40.2 99att 56 comp 56.5% 700yards 4tds 7ints 62.7 QB rating is it time to start to worry? FILU |

I see one stinker, one game where he wasn't playing well at all and got hurt, one really good game and one pretty good game. No, I don't see a trend. I see a team that's gonna need this bye week, as honestly, Favre and the rest of them looked a little spent today before, during and after the game.

No.
However, more of a troubling sign is you only showing up here whenever the Packers experience some adversity. FILU hasn't been here since the Cowboy game |

I guess when the team wins there's not much to talk about. Since todays game was big for HFA, that's why I popped up. Also, this is my 3rd new computer in the last 30 days.....and this one is about to go back

NO. This was a bad game all-around. It can be fixed as long as MM wants to get it fixed. It was a "learned lesson" I think. My guess is that next Sunday, the Packers will bounce back big. Favre will be hot and the "D" will be on "lock 'n load".

GBP1, I didn't put the blame for today's game on Favre. I think the weather was the only reason the Bears won that game. Everything went there way. The Packers looked like the Bucs coming to Green Bay back in the day. We started out playing it safe, but our defense got dinked and ran on alot while the special teams threw out christmas gifts. This game was a team loss and the weather played a huge part in that

maybe a little,
Their passing offense looks a little off-kilter in the cold/elements. So, if we run into a game where we are forced to run the ball more or pass less effectively we will probably lose as that is not this teams identity. This team still has a long way to go in the ground game despite ryan grant's emergence. The O-line is still questionable up the middle. |

This statement is pretty ridiculous. What do you mean there's nothing to talk about when they win? I guess what you meant to say was there's nothing to complain about when they win. |

Most of the stuff I wanted to post have been posted 100 times before I can when we win. So what's the need for the same comment or post? However, I just noticed a bad trend that might effect us in the future which is in the playoffs. It's not like I am spamming the board with bash threads ect about "Favre can't play" or "this team sucks" ect. FILU |

No, everyone has laid an egg this year. The Patriots did too but we won't talk about the refs.

Do you really feel Favre has been "struggling hard" with a 115 and 80 passing rating in the 2 wins? He may not be putting up the great numbers he was earlier in the year, but I don't think he has struggled in each of the last 4 games either. And in the other 2 games that were losses, I'd say it was a team loss. Very few positives to talk about!
I'm more concerned about our run defense than Favre. |

He just doesn't have to same look of confidence he had the first 11 or so games of season
You're right with all the injuries on the d-line that's a real concern. We have been getting gashed lately FILU |

I seem to recall a team last year that lost their last game of the year with nothing to play for against a hated rival. In fact, that team played marginally well down the stretch. That team also went on to the Super Bowl.
I realize we had something to still play for but I'm glad it happened now rather than 3 weeks from now. Shake it off. It happens. Get'em next week, then beat Seattle 2 weeks later. Then Dallas for the re-match. HC |

Can you expound on his voice inflection before and after the games, his body language and any other non-verbals you noticed, as well? Thanks. |

I think if everyone here was honest with themselves, were expecting a few of these this year. The absence of them has been a blessing. In St. Louis, short fields, and 3 notable near misses on pass plays that would have resulted in TDs kept Brett's numbers in check. I think we have been blessed to this point. If MM is as tough minded as I think he is, he won't let the weather be a distraction a second time around.
