Was this discussed?

IMO - Pickett is the most under rated player on the team and the guy I think we can not stand to be without on D.

This is concerning to me...

quote:
On Monday, nose tackle Ryan Pickett was recovering from a groin injury and rookie defensive tackle Justin Harrell a dislocated thumb, both suffered in the Packers' 33-14 victory over the St. Louis Rams Sunday. That was in addition to defensive tackle Corey Williams banging his knee and missing some time.

Pickett's injury is the most serious and it's unclear whether he'll be ready in time for the Packers' Sunday rematch with the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field. He hasn't missed a game in five-plus years so there's no way he's being counted out.

This probably explains why the Run D was so suspect on Sunday.

Completely agree,

Jolly's injury has taken its toll on everyone else, one good thing is, we can rest our players to make a push, I would love to have HFA, but if our players are not healthy and close to 100% it wont matter. Resting and getting back to 100% health is the key from here on out.

I'm not too concerned at this point about how the injuries along our DL could affect the next 2 games. I am concerned about having everyone as healthy as possible for the playoff games, however.
Pickett has played great this year. Losing Jolly hurt; losing Pickett would hurt bad. Add in Kampy and KGB may not be 100% and we could really be hurting. Let's hope everyone has a chance to rest and heal as much as possible these next few weeks.

Give Muir and the guy we picked up from the Vikings some game time over the next two weeks. that's for sure...

Jolly is a key loss. I hope he comes back next year and has an Aaron Kampmann contract year...

don't know if you're joking or not, but I would say give him a look-see for the last two games....he might be hungry...he should have at least two games in him...I know he dissed the Pack in the past...maybe in was due to Sherman?

but, why not...for two games?

If they blow out to big leads over their opponents, then they can rest guys just as long as they don't risk losing those games.

As they have something to gain or lose, you play full out. If guys are hurt and can't play, then they can't play. Otherwise, you play until you've accomplished all that you can accomplish.

If you just give up and roll over and decide to "rest" guys, then not only do you concede the conference to Dallas, but you take all pressure off of them and let them rest guys. No sir. That's a ridiculous strategy.

You keep the pressure on them, force them to keep winning. Otherwise, you're just quitting, giving up.
