Was just on the phone w/ my bro who is a part owner of the Red Sox and a huge hedge fund manager (very well connected guy) and he just told me that reports are out that Favre has retired!! Very bittersweet...the best thing for the Packers but I'm very sorry I'll never see him throw a pass again.

Wrong. If Favre does indeed retire, the Packers will be something $15 million below the salary FLOOR. They will be required to spend that money per the CBA. |
