I know it is just the preseason but he has really impressed me over the past two weeks. I feel a whole lot better for the future at that position when Favre finally does call it quits. I admit I was all for the Rodgers for Moss trade to happen but I am glad that it never did. Go Pack!!!

Its too bad we wont get to see him play in the reg season to see just what he can do against other teams starters but we know the Packers must get a huge lead for that to happen and what are the odds of that happening.he sure does look good again this preseason though. hmm1

Moss hasn't played yet. He hasn't practiced with the team for I think 4 weeks now.

Not now, and not then. Moss was worth no more than the 5th Thompson offered. I think Jones will have more catches and TDs than Moss this year.

Remember, if that happens, it's because Moss didn't have Favre throwing to him.

Rodgers is progressing steadily but still looks hesitant in the pocket to me at times. Against second stringers he can get away with it and dance out of the pocket, but against starters I think those plays end up being closer to sacks. It also looks like he puts a ton of pressure on himself which is understandable with his limited opportunities. As he gets game experience I think that will clear up. He's really starting to remind me personality-wise of Jeff Hostettler*(sp?). Same kind of situation as with Simms and it may take an injury to Favre for him to get his chance. I don't think Brett will retire until his arm falls off if the defense becomes a top 5 unit.

The defense really looks tough and aggressive.

I was happy about Franks last night as well.

Brandon Jackson did fine.

Jones made some nice catches.

I think the major thing they need to work on are the punt and kick coverage units. A little sloppy.

lol

My point is it will be hard for Moss to catch passes and TD's while nursing a hammy.

Santana Moss is a helluva football player. I would trade Aaron Rodgers for him.

good post. I agree.

The defense looks like it has a lot of depth which reminds me of 1995-97 era.

It seems Rodgers is starting to look like Hasselback did during pre-season before the trade....I think Rodgers will have to wait one more year, then take over in 2009...that will be the last year of Rodgers contract and I'm sure something will be done to redo it at that time....I am not worried about Rodgers at all. I see a big improvement overall....even if it's against second stringers.

Also, I hope they don't burn Jackson out....he seems like the only one getting carries in games and practice...they need bodies at RB to take the load off.

He's having a hell of a season...

Would you rather have him over James Jones now?
