EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) -- Darren Sharper is in the final installment of his four-year contract with the Vikings.

And the four-time Pro Bowler says he's got a couple of good years left in him.

At age 32, Sharper says he's feeling healthy. He says he wants to keep playing as long as he can.

The Vikings signed Madieu Williams to play opposite Sharper in the secondary, and they made safety Tyrell Johnson their first pick in this year's draft.

They've made no overture to extend Sharper's contract.

That could indicate that the veteran is approaching the conclusion of his tenure with a team.

But this 2008 season must first be played out before any decisions are made.

Defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier says Sharper looks as good as ever.

And Sharper says he's not worried about the future. He says this season is going to be a big one for the Vikings -- and that's where all his focus is.
