Oh yes, yes it is.
That's why losing to the Cards was such a significant loss. 2 games behind the Packers + having to play Dal-ass, G-men, Chargers, and of course GB twice. That's 5 times they face what is likely to be playoff teams. |

We can't lose with the Cowboys=Lion matchup, unless we're already so far ahead of the Lions that it won't matter in the division....

I'm predicting they'll get 1 more win this season, taking their dominant-NFC North crown challenging season to 7-9...
I hope those jergoffs who predicted they'd take the Packers feel dumb! |

Jeez, i didn't realize it was that bad. We were talking about this in the other thread- the Lions might win 2 more games this year. Wow.

I see them winning 3 more games (one against us) finishing one game back of Kitna's prediction... enough to make the playoffs.

Hey don't count your chickens before their hatched... The lions could pull an upset or two yet -- this is the era of parity after all.

The Lions schedule isn't and more or less difficult than the Packers remaining games... Is the Lions defense any good? I haven't watched them once this season. If they're any good they can beat/outscore the Giants, Minny, San Diego, KC and could even pull an "upset" against the Packers (especially on THANKSGIVING)... so for toots and maytals, that's 5 wins for a grand total of 11-5. I'm not saying anythings likely one way or another... but that schedule is by no means "hard" or "harder" than the Pack who ALSO have to play Dallas and the Lions twice... |

WTF are you talking about? The Packers have the Raiders, Panthers and Rams. They all suck. The Lions get the Giants and Chargers who do not suck. Then factor in that the 6-3 Lions play the 8-1 Packers twice. Yeah, those games are tougher for Detroit. Please. Their schedule is considerably more difficult. |

Agreed. Teams have shown their "stripes," so to speak. The Lions have a rough road. |

I'll be bold enough to say we will win the division if we beat Detroit on Turkey Day. We'll do no worse than a split with them, and they're won't be enough games remaining for them to catch us.
