Instead there is a chance they will start the season without the Williams Wall on defense and with Favre, Harvin, and Peterson on offense. Doesn't have the same ring to it, does it? |

Perhaps, but let me ask you this
If offered the chance to make the trade : Griffin and Cook for Jennings Would they ? I am fairly certain they would do cartwheels at the chance They have a hole at center with the departure of Birk, but Cook isn't slotted for that spot despite being drafted as a Center. Nor is he in consideration for the open RT spot, they drafted Loadholt for that role. So it appears that Ryan Cook is a man without a position.... Cedric Griffin is a good CB who struggled early and has shown improvement This isn't on the scale of Erasmus James and Troy Williamson, but it is interesting to note that their next pick after Cook was Tavaris Jackson, who they paid an extra pick to move up and acquire in the 2nd round.
