I was looking back at the previous 8 games and noticed something. The week after the Packers play a team, that Packer opponent loses! This was brought up before like the 1985 Bears or the 1996 Packers. Let's take a look.....

Week #1 Packers over Eagles 16-13 Week #2 Eagles lose to Washington 20-12
Week #2 Packers over Giants 35-13 Week #3 Giants WIN over Wash. 24-17
Week #3 Packers over S.D. 31-24 Week #4 S.D. loses to K.C. 30-16
Week #4 Packers over Minn. 23-16 Week #5 Minn. has BYE week (Then beat Chicago 34-31 next week)
Week #5 Packers lose to Bears 27-20 Week #6 Bears lose to Minn 34-31
Week #6 Packers over Wash. Week #7 Wash. WIN over Arizona 21-19 (Rackers missed FG to end game)
Week #7 Packers have bye week and give the league a break Big Grin
Week #8 Packers over Denver 19-13 Week #9 Denver blasted by Lions 44-7
Week #9 Packers over K.C. 33-22 Week #10 K.C. ??????????????????????

So far only 2 teams have won the week after playing Green Bay.

One of the reasons I'm posting this is I'm considering taking K.C. to win over Denver in my suicide type pool.

Any advice for me? Smiler

Buy low, eat crayons.

Right now KC is getting it together and Denver is coming apart at the seams. It'll be interesting to see what Holmes does this week. While I don't think anyone expects him to be the back of old I think he's still got enough in the tank. Denver isn't stopping anyone's run game.

It's a good bet.

When is Brodie Croyle going to play?

So...four times an opponent of ours lost their next game (Philly, San Diego, Bears, Broncos).

Three times an opponent of ours won their next game (Giants, Minnesota, Washington).

I don't think that very shaky "trend" should affect your bet. Chiefs will beat Broncos today.

Minnesota had a bye so they had 2 weeks to "recover" plus it took a 55yd FG for them to win Wink

I think so too. Chiefs played pretty decent last week & that was the 1st time their defense had allowed more than 20 points.

I'm going with Denver to lose.

the reason their opponents lose the next game is because they are not any good.

Yeah of course I didn't take the Vikings to lose even though I thought about it.

Roll Eyes

That's still only 2 teams that have won 1 week after we played them. (Minnesota had a bye)

This is why I stick to fantasy football rather than betting actual games.
