Harvin stopped there on layover as he traveled from Florida to Minneapolis.

Never too soon to do their homework but I would think that the Packer history would have hit them sometime sooner as players especially Matthews without having to use a search engine but I guess they probably added to their Packer knowledge after reading about Curly, Hutson, Blood McNally, etc.
