Stafford coming along

The Dominators 3-4 defense will be gladly greeting him on Thanksgiving

As weird as it sounds, I found myself cheering for Detroit this past season (not against the Packers though obviously). I feel bad for a lot of the players that their GM was so terrible and their coaches were just as bad. Hopefully Schwartz and Stafford can turn things around so this team is competitive. The NFC North doesn't get very much respect it doesn't seem like. With all the talent in this division (Peterson, Rodgers, Cutler, Stafford, Briggs, Woodson, Johnson, etc.), it should be one of the top divisions in football, hopefully it will be this season!.

David Carr looked good when he came into the league as well. If the Lions have ANY brains on that staff they won't throw him out there until they build an offensive line. Otherwise he'll be Carr part deux.

Actually he looked $hit because Chris Palmer tried to change his delivery from 3/4 to over the top. Had him passing over 8 foot ladders 4 hours a day.

Either way my point is valid. Carr got beat to schit as a Texan because he had no protection.

I think he's going to be good. Then again, I thought Harrington was going to be good.

We need input from the icon to know for sure.

I cheer for the Lions when they're not playing the Packers. There, I said it.

Why do some NFC North topics show up in the Packer forum and others don't? Just curious about all of this technology.

2 CN's!

with conversion rates, that is roughly the equivalent of 3 Tony Gwynn Jr's.

I actually think David Carr was a better QB prospect than Stafford coming out of college

What he's going to find out (much like Carr) is that if you don't have an OL you are going to get killed.

Carr was a pretty good college QB. Maybe Stafford is better, who knows? He played with a much better supporting cast at UGA.

All I know is the Detroit OL is garbage and he will pay the price- no matter how "good" he is. Plus, this aint like ATL or Baltimore where they had great running games to bail out Ryan and Flacco.

If Stafford plays this year I would be shocked if he makes it past the halfway mark without getting hurt.

Miami had it figured out the year before taking the OL instead of the QB. Without good trench play you are going to be hosed.

If Tony Gwynn Jr's pics were as big as CN's would that effect the exchanger rate? Or is the size irrelevant in determining value?

When I look at this thread I fear for Tony Gwynn Jr because if Cold Mark's post were to suddenly disappear Tony Gwynn Jr would be crushed into a bloody pancake by just ONE of the Craig Nall's.
