Im such a Favre fan. Im a Favre-long Packers fan and when he moved over to the Jets so did I. Where Favre goes, I go. Its kinda weird rooting for another team after all these years as a die hard packer backer, but it didnt take me long to realize the sole reason for being a Packers fan in the heart of Chicago is Brett Favre. Packers without him are not to appealing to me anymore at all. Alot like the Jets team before they picked up the greatest QB in the history of the game.

I love Brett too, but what the heck were you going to do when he retired?

Me too. J-E-T-S, Jets Jets Jets! I hope the Packers do O.K. this year. I hear they might still show some of their games in Wisconsin.

You should have capitalized "Favre". A true Brett Favre fan would not have overlooked that.
Go Green Bay packers! |

You mean the greatest interception thrower of all time. He isn't even close to the greatest of all time. Great Qbs win multiple Superbowls.
Favray had a superbowl victory 15 years ago and hasn't done squat since. Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson have as many rings as Favray. I'd take Brady or Manning any day over Favray. Favray is the ultimate choker in big games. He hasn't won a big game in 12 years. |

Favre aint a choker. Ill-advised risk-taker. But not a choker.
Manning's teams have not faired so well in the playoffs. And it could be argued that Brady choked last year vs. the NYGs. |

http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=34679&page=5 Check that link. It's pretty funny. Love some of those comments... "So THAT'S what a QB does!" "The Jets are FINALLY fun to watch!" I truly hope the Jets do well this year. |

newyorkjets.com/blog/posts/657-shoes-no-need-to-play-favre-in-philly
It appears chemistry begins at home for Brett Favre. There's no need for him to play at Philly. Favre's learned all he can and developed the necessary chemistry in practice, he's ready, bring on the regular season. Heck, LT has played but one snap in preseason in 4 years, Favre is well past that mark. I wish Brett Favre well, I really do. But time will tell how Favre's preparation for this season will play out. Maybe the chemistry is there and the Jets will have a magical season. They certainly have nowhere to go, but up. |

We'd have the 31 and 32 picks in the draft.

Unless the Jets have major injuries, I'm pretty sure we'll be getting a second round pick out of it. |
