Knowing that there really isn't anything down in the minors regarding pitching that is ready to move up, do we have enough starting pitching right now to contend? Do we need to go out and get Washburn or one of the other starters still available on the market? I have heard nothing about Ben Sheets. Has anyone else heard how he's doing, if he's healthy, and is he interested in coming back to Milwaukee with a minor league contract and see if he can work his way back? I know there is talk of signing Mulder, but he's another 32 year old coming off of two years of injuries. At that rate maybe Teddy Higuera's shoulder is now healed and they can bring him back. sarcasm

I'm thinking I'd like to see them sign one of those remaining pitchers on the market. I really like Washburn's stuff and I think he's young enough and quality enough to sign and fill that gap for a few years while the Crew tries to develop someone in the minors.

If Bush and Parra pitch like they did in 2008 then the Brewers have enough pitching. If they don't the Brewers are in some trouble.

So you wouldn't go after any Washburn?
