Damn. Seeing Rickie on the DL with the way he was playing just hurts. I really feel sorry for the guy.

So what does this mean in terms of how we're playing? Are you saying this is good, average, acceptable?

Mike Cameron coming on BIG TIME in this department. I'm not sure the exact number of at-bats he has gotten in these situation over the last two weeks but I am going to estimate he's been 7 for his last 16 (.438) with runners in scoring position.

Two week update:

It's looking like the former second base platoon (Counsell/McGehee) has moved to third base with the acquisition of Lopez. Since there are so many more right-handed starting pitchers in the league, it seems that Counsell will get the majority of playing time at third base. Because of this, I am listing Lopez and Counsell as starters and McGehee as a reserve.

The Starters:

-Felipe Lopez (*) = .333 (-.--)
-Prince Fielder = .326 (-.007)
-Ryan Braun = .298 (-.028)
-Craig Counsell = .283 (-.017)
-Corey Hart = .233 (+.024)
-Jason Kendall = .230 (-.012)
-J.J. Hardy = .210 (-.003)
-Mike Cameron = .198 (+.004)

The Reserves:
-Casey McGehee = .385 (+.010)
-Frank Catalanotto = .286 (-.047)
-Mike Rivera = .200 (.000)
-Bill Hall = .196 (+.018)
-Joey Gerut = .000 (.000) (8 at-bats)

Disabled List:
-Rickie Weeks = .313

In Brewer's Minor League System:
-Mat Gamel = .280 (-.024)
-Chris Duffy = .222

No Longer With The Brewers:
-Brad Nelson = .000

(*) = only includes at-bats with the Brewers

As a team the Brewers are hitting .251 with runners in scoring position, which ranks 11th in the National League. Two weeks ago the Brewers were hitting .252 with runners in scoring position, which ranked 12th in the National League.

Corey Hart and JJ Hardy haven't been playing the last month- that might explain the uptick in RISP...
