Do you think Hammond enjoyed watching Lopez play last night while alexander (aka Markus Haislip . Shawn Respert) sat on the bench? Lopez will be a starting center for the next 15 years in the NBA. Blowing your first lottery pick is not a good way to start an era. I know we had bogut who is injury prone, but you take the best player, period, not a work out warrior like alexander.

I think Hammond has to be ecstatic that the Bucks would be in the playoffs if the season ended today. New head coach, losing your two top players for the season and as you pointed out no contribution from your lottery pick. The Bucks' future looks bright on the court if you ask me.

Mbah a Moute has looked pretty good for a second rounder, so you have to give our GM some credit for this draft. I'm guessing he'd be a first round pick if they redid the draft today.

There are 8 other teams that passed on Brooke Lopez as well. Im not surprised how well he is playing at all. But lets be realistic here.... how is JA supposed to get alot of minutes with Richard Jefferson at the 3 and Charlie V at the 4... not to mention the stellar 2nd round pick LRBAM who we all knew was more NBA defensively ready spelling those positions as well. You also have flex players taking minutes at the 3 - Bell and Bogans.

Give it time. He obviously has the tools. He just really doesnt have a spot to come in and contribute at the moment.

He's been out the last couple games, but JA will be back.

Any GM racked with regret not even one full season after the draft would probably not be worth much. I doubt he's so insecure.

especially when the team will probably be +10-+15 in wins from last year... without their 2 star players for 1/2 the year.

That right there is a big leap.
