From Rotoworld.com, as linked from MSNBC.com. Doesn't look like they could get much from Cavs for him, although unloading the contract would be something.

If a deal with Cleveland happens.... it will require a 3rd team.
Parts arent there for a 2 team deal. |

Outside of LeBron there isn't a lot of good talent on that team that I'd want them to acquire.

Every player on this team is on the block. Hammond would like to keep Bogut, Yi and Sessions but if he gets the right offer they're gone. There are no untouchables on a last place team.

Do last place teams "rebuild" when they trade their superstar? Or are they just "changing philosophy?"

This guy is HIGH...
Why would the Bucks even consider this- for cap reasons? They aren't over the cap. They're at it. The Bucks would be plain stupid to do this deal, regardless of a draft pick- the Cavs are going to be a top team as long as LeBron is playing- the draft pick means n-o-t-h-i-n-g. A 3rd team needing cap relief would have to come into this mix. I know the first thing people are going to throw out there would be Zach Randolph in NY, but I don't think so. I think the Senator already nixed a deal like that. How would Hammond be able to convince him when Harris couldn't? Maybe Hammond has more credibility, I don't know. Would he fit into Skiles' hardass style? Character and work ethic are huge concerns, but the same could be said for Jermaine O'Neal, too. If he ever got his head straight, Randolph could be an elite PF, and this team needs an elite PF. It would take enormous balls to make a deal like that... |

What are they rebuilding from? If anything I'd call it trying to lay down a foundation. Emphasis on TRYING. (Although I believe the moves Hammond makes will be substantially better than the ones Harris made.) |

Can you imagine this scenario, having Bogans and not signing Simmons along with resigning Pachulia and not Hackzuric.

Redd could very well be on his way out. I guess the way I see it, if they had a better overall team you could play guys like Mo Williams and Charlie Bell at the 2 guard.
What this team lacks is a good perimeter defender, another quality big that will board and score inside, and a SF/swingman that can create problems with their offense. I would normally have added a PG into that mix as well, but I really think Sessions has a chance to be a solid player. |
