The Bucks have had several "era's" where they were a championship caliber team. From '71-'74 they were one of the top teams in the league, going to the finals twice and winning it all once. They were a top 5 team from about '82-'86. They just had the misfortune of playing in the same conference as Boston and less so, Philly. They should have gone to the finals in 2001. Overall, a fairly solid franchise history, even if they only have 1 championship to show for it.

I think Hammond and Skiles have what it takes to get them back there, too. This draft will be important. If they can land an impact player, they have the makings of a very competitive team.
