Hammond was on FSN, says he can see Alexander playing the 4. He's not big but he is strong (second in the bench press at the combine).
We still have a lot of guys on the block for the right deal, Mo, Redd and especially CV. There is a lot of time before training camp opens. |

I'd think that Mo Williams is the guy being moved. My guess is for a pick around 20ish + a expiringish contract. |

Honestly, how can Stephen A. Smith keep a straight face with the Suns' hat sitting on Robin Lopez's hair like that? That was quite possibly the funniest thing I have ever seen.

God the ESPN draft coverage is terrible and Stuart Scott is the absolute worst sports analyst anywhere. He has had so many jokes bomb tonight I almost feel bad for him. How he has a job is beyond me. It was much better when TNT had the draft.

Kind of surprised with the second pick - thought they might go with CDR.
Another SF - this one with some "D" skills - 7 foot wing span. |

I thought they would go with Luc actually before this draft started... unless a guy like DJ White fell to them...
CDR falling to this spot surprised me, but I think the thinking is that they have enough scorers already. The role players that can play some defense are valuable to this team. This guy could flat out shut people down. Look at UCLA's defense last season. They give UW a run for their money... |

You're wrong. And now that the Wolves have traded Mayo for Love and Mike Miller, we'll get to watch yet another T-Wolves draft pick become a great player for another team. I hate McHale. |

I'm with TFR here. They absolutely crushed Memphis in this deal. They pick up Mike Miller and IMO get the better team player that is conducive to wins in Kevin Love... not to mention got rid of the albatross contracts in Walker and Jaric and pick up lesser deals in Buckner and Cardinal... They smoked Memphis. McHale finally did something right. |

^ This. When I saw the trade details I couldn't believe it. Mike Miller is a tier 2 player in the NBA. Not a superstar but as close as you can get. Love will have an impact in the post. Jason Collins is a serviceable backup center. How they managed to get rid of Marko Jaric and his horrible contract is amazing to me. McHale finally made a good trade. I like what the Bucks did a lot more but this wasn't bad at all as far as the Wolves are concerned. It is not like they traded Beasley or Rose. Memphis is a joke. I guess McHale figured if everyone else screws Memphis over he may as well try as well, and he did. I didn't like the trading of Chalmers though. |

Didn't the Bucks pick David Noel again with taking Moute? An average player who started at a good program who is known for his athleticism, defense and rebounding. I just don't know where Moute makes it when David Noel couldn't.
At least with Chris Douglas-Roberts you would have had a guy with a skill that puts him on your roster. If nothing else he could have been an upgrade over Charlie Bell. I'm fine with the Alexander pick since Gordon was off the board, like the Jefferson deal, but don't like the Moute pick. |

Moute is a more talented defensive player than Noel.
Noel was considered more of an athlete coming out of college. He was not considered a plus defender and never showed it for the Bucks. In reality, this is a second round pick. If he contributes next season it's pure gravy. Ramon Sessions who appears to be something special didnt make an impact due to GM decisions and then injury.. so we only saw him for a handful of games. I doubt we see much of Moute in year 1, but that is easy to say because he is a second round pick... |

I hear you guys...the only reason I'm skeptical is because McHale never is on the right side of these deals. I hope I'm wrong and you guys are right.
I still hate McHale. |

Good point, afterall it is McHale. I just think Kevin Love is a pretty damn good player and he is an awesome passer. He probably won't be a superstar/all-star player but should have a good career (15/10 type guy). Al Jefferson at C isn't the greatest though. He and Love will get owned on defense. They could be respectable (30-35 wins) next season. Mike Miller alone should add about 8 wins. Love passing otu of the post to Miller for 3 could do a lot of good for the team. Not enough to even sniff the playoffs but when you are as bad as the Wolves are you'll take any sort of improvement. I just don't see the benefit at all from Memphis' perspective to bringing in Mayo. They already have a whole bunch of guys like him - Conley, Lowrey, Rudy Gay, Javaris Crittenton, etc. I really don't know what they are doing in Memphis and why they were in such a big hurry to trade their 2 best players - Gasol earlier this season and now Miller. |

I have just one question left unanswered after watching the draft. Who in the hell names their twin BOYS "Brook" and "Robin"? With appologies to Robin Yount, did she think the doctor said they were girls?
Well, they both play like girls anyway. So glad the Bucks didn't take Brook when she dropped. Or her sister for that matter. |

In a recap by Sam Smith, Moute was referred to by a scout as "Ron Artest without the crazy".
He spent 3 years in a very good conference guarding alot of lottery picks and good college players. He was probably the best defender in the PAC-10 during his 3 years at UCLA. His offensive game lacks, but if he is a Bowen/Artest Hybrid at the small forward position...... i'll take it. More than likely though, he doesnt see the floor next season much. Oh and the David Noel comparison still bugs me, because all Noel was in college was an athlete and a dunker. North Carolina never plays much defense... nor was Noel considered a defensive guy. He was just the best "athlete" in that draft. |
