Injury to Ridnour?
By Tom Enlund of the Journal Sentinel Feb. 5, 2009 6:18 p.m. It looks as if the Bucks injury situation has gone from bad to worse to horrific. According to a source, starting point guard Luke Ridnour suffered a broken thumb in practice today which could sideline him for about four weeks. Guard Michael Redd is out for the season with a knee injury and center Andrew Bogut has been lost for at least eight weeks with a back injury. General manager John Hammond had no comment when asked early this evening about an injury to Ridnour. The team’s practices are closed to the media. Since the Bucks traded point guard Tyronn Lue to Orlando today – that deal was being finalized during practice – the team is left with Ramon Sessions as its only true point guard on the roster. Without Ridnour, with Bucks would have 11 players on their roster which would mean they most likely would bring in another player on a 10-day contract. Ridnour is averaging 10.7 points, a team-high 5.7 assists, and 31.1 minutes per game. He is the team’s leading free-throw shooter (89.4%). ------------------------------------------------------------------ Unfriggin real if true. Raise the white flag. Did someone/thing put a damn curse on this team?! |
