If true, crap!
After he went down, RJ walked over to him & asked something like "You OK?". Redd replied "NO", struggled to get up & hopped over to the bench. A few minutes later, he went to the locker room & wasn't seen again during the game. Bucks hung tough to beat the Kings last night. Could have easily lost. |

Tough blow. The Bucks looked like they would at least survive for a playoff berth this year. With a favorable schedule in the final 2 months, they stood a good chance.
But there is still hope. They need Sessions to step up, Ridnour to stay healthy, they need Bogut on the floor the rest of the season, too. This team is a helluva lot better with Bogut, regardless of Redd. It's a shame that they will again not be playing together, because we won't know, but Bogut makes this team so much tougher on the glass and the D. He has been missed on all those nights when they were getting pounded on the boards. But maybe it's time for Bogut to start asserting himself offensively instead of deferring. He still hasn't done this. |

I'm not a gynecologist, but when you have a complete tear of both your MCL and ACL, I believe that could be career threatening.

yeah, those ACL tears are so predictable. I think they would have moved him if they could have, but they needed something of merit back in return and that was not coming. Unless you are aware of trades that were offered that im unaware of. |

Ummm...he was tradeable. Are you on planet earth? Every person on this planet knows his contract expires after next season. I guarantee you a lot of teams were calling looking for a #2.

I guess for all those people talking about him being a FA are wrong after 2009/2010 are wrong? After NY did their player dump they talked about Redd for a good while on NBA tonight. You might want to do some research there Rainbow Brite.

Im confident my link I provided you is just a tad more relevant as opposed to what you "recollect" from what people said. You've demonstrated such quality understanding in the past that I'm inclined to say... uh no.
If Redd opted out on 18M for 1 season he'd be nuts unless he had a stellar season. He was not on pace for anything of such before the injury, and last year did not help his cause either. |

Like your Ned Yost should be manager of the year thread??? Or TT made the wrong move by trading Favre posts? That is mere speculation on your part if "he" would take the option. Why would he play for that one year when he would be able to strike it rich with a 6 year deal with possibly New York or someone else. And again, just because he has an option DOES NOT MEAN HE WOULD NOT BE A FA. Sheesh.... Come back from Favre-land. |

Redd will be 31 at the start of the '10/'11 season, hard to see him opting out of 18 mil. No one will sign him to that big of a contract, or one heafty enough and long enough to recoup that kind of dough. Unless traded, that contract will likely be there until '12.

Now that he is hurt, it's a slam dunk but the Bucks had there chances to move Michael Re . Hopefully, this is a blessing to get to see a lot of JA.
