If there is good news about this it's that they are now likely to finish in the lottery again- get another good player and they will be a lot better next year

If Skiles can make the playoffs after this, he will deserve to be coach of the year.

Getting a high pick in the Lottery as a result would remind me of the Spurs when David Robinson got hurt and as a result they got Duncan. They were a far better team than their record for that year showed.

Sheesh....two best players out for the year. (pretty much)
Hopefully they don't over-react by trading Sessions or CV. Time to see what Alexander can do. |

Tough break (sorry....) for AB. Just hope he recovers COMPLETELY before returning. No sense at all in returning late this season.
The big move needs to be dumping RJ for some cap flexibility. |

You have to believe that this is coming now. There really is no place for him now. This team will sink faster than a stone, and they might actually get some value for him. Has to be the right deal, though. |

Unbelievable.
Wisconsin teams seem pretty unlucky, all in all. |

The right deal is any one that starts to clean up the cap hell the Bucks find themselves in. |

But you don't just give him away. Get a draft pick, get a young player, get something. |

The Bucks should be able to shop Richard Jefferson to a contender. Despite being "out of shape", he is still a decent player in this league.
In all likelihood he is the guy that is moved. Obviously, you cant trade Redd at this point, or probably any until his contract is fully over in 2011. The Bogans for Lue trade was ho hum, but prior to the Ridnour freak thumb injury, it made alot of sense. It still makes sense I guess, but you cant predict the future with injuries like that. |

Good, I hope they play more of them in the next 60 days since we are missing our big guns ...

I heard a rumor yesterday that would send RJ and Ridnour to the Blazers for Travis Outlaw and LaFrentz (contract).
Outlaw has one year remaining at about $4MM but they would cut out almost $13MM from the Lafrentz contract next year. If my numbers are correct dealing those guys and letting the contracts of Bogans, Damon Jones, and Adrian Griffin expire would allow Milwaukee to pick up close to $30MM this offseason in savings. Guys like Ben Gordon, JR Smith, AI, Ron Artest, Lamar Odom, David Lee are possibilities 2010 is the big year from a free agency standpoint |

That coin is needed so sign Sessions, CV (assuming they don't move him prior to Thursday) & next year's 1st rounder. Extremely unlikely that the Bucks dip into the FA pool. |

There was more to that rumor. Check it out. http://www.oregonlive.com/sports/oregonian/john_canzano...nba_and_blazers.html "I've heard several rumors floated in the last 24 hours, including someone who speculated that the Blazers might talk with the Milwaukee Bucks about a deal that would send the Raef LaFrentz contract, Sergio Rodriguez, Travis Outlaw, and a draft pick to the Bucks for Richard Jefferson and Luke Ridnour." |
