The JSO Article on Blair is intriguing. I liked Blair- I just worry that he's not going to be the kind of player that this team needs. I don't like the idea of a 6 ft 6 1/2" PF. He'll be playing up on KG, Rasheed Wallace, Pau Gasol - he couldn't touch those guys. But Barkley comparisons make you wonder. Everyone talks about his work ethic- it seems like the real thing. I don't think he's Tractor Traylor, though that's the first thing that comes to mind. He plays below the rim, and that's a handicap in today's NBA.

I like Jonny Flynn a lot. I think he's going to be a tremendous pro. He would answer the PG issue for a long time. They would not have to overpay Sessions if they drafted him.

Hoopshype has the Bucks taking Blair.

I live in Richmond and can tell you that Maynor is definitely a leader and a guy that plays well under pressure. If Sessons is gone he would be a very good replacement.

With so many contracts coming due this next coupld years, the Bucks need to also identify the SG position. this draft seems to be pretty deep in SGs, and the Bucks need to ensure that when the Mike Redd Chapter is closed in Milwaukee, they aren't left with a bare cupboard. If Gerald Henderson is availble, he might be worth the pick.

Even though his jumpshot is inconsisent and he plays a little undisciplined at times I would have no problems with them going after a guy like Flynn. He's got exposiveness and a quick change of direction that can translate to the next level, and it's not like they would need him to go out and score 20PPG every night.

Defensively and athletically Henderson is a great fit. He certainly fits the Skile mold of defender first. But he is the kind of all-around player the Bucks have lacked for so long. The Bucks star players have all been purely offensive players. Allen, Robinson, Cassell, Redd... but Skiles valued D so much more. Henderson is an excellent college player, and I think he projects as a very good pro. He's Skile's type of player, and his offensive game has improved. Plus he makes the Bucks a far more athletic team, which to me is desireable.

Jordan Hill has said he likes the Bucks, but I don't think he'll last to #10. He seems like a pretty good fit in Milwaukee- a great athlete, good rebounder- if the Bucks let Villanueva walk, he's a good replacement because he would actually play in the paint as opposed to the 3 pt line.

Right now Hoopshype has the Bucks taking Flynn, with Henderson going 12th and Hill 7th. NBADraft.net has the Bucks taking Derozen (USC), with Henderson 12th again and Hill going 6th to the Timberwolves. They have Flynn going 7th to Golden State.

So it looks like no one really knows how the top 10 will fare. After Griffin it's a total crapshoot.

OK, I don't follow the NBA much so I was wondering if any of you Wisconsin and Minnesota folks can tell me what kind of a deal the Wizards did.

They traded the #5 pick in the draft, Etan Thomas, Darius Songaia & Oleksiy Pecherov to the Timberwolves for Randy Foye & Mike Miller. On the surface, to me anyway, it looks like they gave away quite a bit. Are these two guys any good?

Thanks

I like the potential of Holiday and DeRozan. I actually think some team will be completely happy with the production they get from drafting Tyler Hansbrough late.

I don't know why ELK but I think he would be a great guy off the bench and reminds me of Brad Miller.

Miller and Foye are decent players, although Miller was a disappointment for the Wolves last year. Foye should do well in Washington, his problem with the Wolves was they kept trying to make him a point guard, which he is not. If Washington leaves him at the 2, he'll be fine. Of the players the Wizards sent to Minnesota, Thomas is the only one with a chance to make the roster.

I really don't think Flynn will last that long

Ty Lawson would be a good second choice at PG. Even though I like Sessions they could use a guy that is quick/athletic/explosive.

Not sure what to think of the Wolves drafting both Rubio and Flynn. I like them both but I hope they don't wind up trading Rubio. They're going to be awfully small that's for damn sure.

LOL @ Knick fans. From elation to depression in about 5 minutes.

Got it. I figured with what was left, Jennings had to be the guy.

I saw most mocks had him already gone by the time the Bucks picked. I guess I am underwhelmed by the pick- don't know much about him other than what he did to no play in college. The skinny on him is that he has the flair for the spectacular- not sure that really means. Will he be able to survive Skiles' verbal abuse? Will he be able to be coached?

At 6'1", I question his ability to be a great player at PG. But he gets comparisons to Tony Parker, which would be great.

Well, well, well.
Look who went to a lottery team where I seemed to be the only one who thought he would...(maybe not on this board)
Psycho T

EDIT: Brandon Jennings arrival and waving to the crowd was hilarious to me and his teammates will not let him forget about that for quite a while... clap1
