So is MCJ not doing well because he is on a bad team, in a bad system or has a bad coach? OR is MCJ not really the star alot of us thought he could be and now that the Grizzlies know that they are trying to get something for nothing?
Has anyone out there followed the MCJ lately? |

He and his dad owe a ton to Greg Oden. They were teammates in AAU, HS and of course college. His old man became Oden's agent. w/o Oden there he looks like crap.

I don't think it's a bad deal. If Skiles can turn Heinrich into a solid player, he could make Connley a star. The kid obviously has tremendous speed, he just needs the right place. His biggest weakness is his shooting touch. Redd fixed his after a season on the bench. Tony Parker couldn't shoot either. Connley could be that kind of player.
I also liked what I heard from Ilyasova in the article. The kid's playing well, and could offer a replacement for Alexander on the roster if they do deal him. Not this year obviously, but next year. He has an NBA body, can stroke the jumper, and could be a good piece to the puzzle. They'll have to pay him, though. He went back to Europe because of $$$... |

No doubt this team needs another point guard. Question is what is Joe Alexander's upside?

Personally, don't like it. Why give up on JA so early?
Seems like it's more a $$ deal than anything else. Lots of discussion over at RealGM. |

I hate that deal to be honest with you
Sessions and Alexander are hard working guys and both guys have shown flashes of talent. Conley Jr strikes me as a guy that is lazy and just happy to have gotten drafted and paid. Now, if they got a 1st back in return maybe I think about it but Sessions is a starting caliber PG now. |

I guess I wouldn't be in favor of that deal either ...
Why would you trade for an unknown PG with questionable talent when you have a young freak at forward with albeit a questionable NBA future but possible great upside AND an already quality backup PG, possible starter. If anything, IMO the Bucks should lock up Sessions for a few years and give Alexander some serious 1on1 tutelage for development both off-season and during. |

I still like Conley quite a bit. I thought he had as much to do with Ohio State's success as anyone. Last year he was a very young rookie. This year he doesn't have the ball as much with Mayo around. I think he will be better than Sessions.
The biggest factor for me would be what the Bucks' think about Alexander. Either they must really be down on his development and likelihood of him maximizing his talent or they must really think highly of Conley. I think he would be a great fit and make Redd, Jefferson, and Bogut better players. |

is there a way they can swing the trade without JA?
Maybe Sessions+ our 1st round pick. |

I only follow the Bucks casually, but find my 2cents is always valuable.
I don't mind Conley, think he is quick and can direct an offense. Not sure if he is better than Sessions except possible on the "potential" factor. If the Grizz are throwing in a first round pick, it might be worth it. Sessions + our first for MC would be a terrible move. Milwaukee is currently giving up the best player in the deal, why throw in a pick? |

Alexander looked pretty good last night. The guy can throw in the ball.

The Bucks have always done so well with trades, I can't wait for the next one which will almost certainly help us to turn the corner.

Nothing about this makes sense to me.
Don't like it at all. What's the upside...the draft pick? Yikes |
