Passed away yesterday from breast cancer.
http://www.boston.com/bostonglobe/obituaries/articles/2...ed_team_to_st_louis/ I remember seeing her at the Rams games. Looking over her obit, she was married 7 times and it seems most of her husbands died accidently. RIP Georgia. |

I hate that disease and I'm a very big contributor to breast cancer research.

It took her seven marriages to finally catch a millionaire. Sheesh! Practice makes perfect.

I was shocked at the reaction this drew from media personalities in SoCal yesterday. Some of them were openly celebrating, and one show actually played the song, "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" from the Wizard of Oz. It was appalling, but a lot of people out here never forgave her for moving the Rams.
Oh, and FRZ - enough on breast cancer. We hear more than enough about that already. RIP. |

Don't know, but Georgia got a check from St. Louis for $350 million when she moved the team, so at that point I don't think a husband's worth mattered much.

This was expected but will have an impact on the Rams ownership. Her son is a movie producer in LA. He feels a commitment to keep the team in St. Louis, but isn't really planning to give up his career. The minority owner owns teams in other sports and could not under current league rules take over.
Does he keep the team there? Move it to LA? Sell to the minority owner who divests himself of his other teams. Sell to a third party? The St. Louis newspaper has been looking at the possibilities for a while. |

As many humans die of prostate cancer as breast cancer.
10 times as much money is spent on breast cancer research as is spent on prostate cancer research. |

She was quite the looker when she was younger as I remember,no wonder she had no problem finding someone to warm the other side of her bed,or offer themselves up in matrimony.
