its a crosswind landing. Google it, it's not uncommon. Some pretty cool videos out there.

 I've been lucky in that i've only been involved in one nasty landing. It was nothing close to that though! Definitely makes you pucker up. |

I was involved in a crosswind landing once heading into Vegas. It's not fun.
