OK I have an older computer (bought in 1998). It had 9,000 MB of memory, we have hardly any programs on the computer, now we have around 200 MB of memory now, what can I check to see if the computer is storing something.
I went to files and folders and typed *.jpeg and got a couple of pics, I deleted. Any thing else I can check?? THANKS in advance |

Try cleaning up .tmp files. If you're running XP, there should be a disk clean up utility available.

OK, i think I see the problem, everytime I watch a viedo from like you tube, Break.com. ebalm's world, etc it loses memory. So lets say I watch a 2mb viedo, I lose 2 mb of memory, so am I right in thinking the computer is storing it somewhere? If so where?

It's probably storing the video on your hard drive in your Temporary Internet directory (or something like that).

You are talking about hard drive space not memory, correct?
