Microsoft Leaks Details About Windows Vista
Read it for yourself. Looks like they are trying to scam us again and milk us for as much money as possible.

Huh? How so?

Eight versions of Vista:

Vista for Dummies (Just the logo screen)
Vista for Babies (A moving logo screen)
Vista for Toddlers (A moving, talking logo screen)
Vista for Beginners (OS with only 3 keystrokes required)
Vista for Home Use (All of the above features plus a start your coffee feature)
Vista for Business (Special Help section - grow your business like Microsoft)
Vista for People on the Go (Shave, drink your coffee, fix your hair, listen to your iPod and surf the net on the way to work)
Vista without the security holes (to be released in 2015 or later) (A work in progress)

That's complete BS if we have to pay more (Windows Vista Ultimate) simply to get the multimedia functions. That Tiger OS on the Intel is looking better & better all the time.

Maybe this is Microsoft's revenge for the lawsuit that made it unbundle it's software.

If the higher end Vista license is in line with a Windows XP Pro license, then I don't see the problem. Giving people the option to pay LESS for features they don't want or need makes sense.

I'd expect it will be a little more $$ than XP Pro, just like XP Pro was a little more $$ than 2000.
