I think thats what they are called.
Instead of getting a normal web page picture, I get a little box in the upper left hand corner.
I didnt ask for it and I dont know why I get it.
So instead of an image, I get the little box.
How do I get back to normal viewing. I checked my Internet settings and nothing looks out of order.
I just installed XP tools and windows defender. I am not happy with Windows defender. When it runs it uses up all my CPU.

Well I'll be gosh darned. I uninstalled Windows defender and my image placeholders are gone, for chess on Yahoo.
For some reason I get no images on X4.???
